RISE & SHINE WELCOME TO THE GROUNDS

7:30AM — REGISTRATION

Rise and shine, runners and walkers! Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted by friendly event staff and volunteers who are there to assist you every step of the way. Look for signage directing you to the registration area. Our team will quickly scan your registration ticket and give you a run down on grounds activations.

Once checked in, grab your event swag and head over to the fuel station for healthy pre-walk fuel! Take a moment to soak in the atmosphere and connect with fellow participants as you prepare for the adventure ahead.


8:00AM — THE MORNING STRETCH

Start the day with a warm breeze and the summer sun. An expert instructor will guide attendees through a FREE early morning yoga session prior to the main event. Connect with your inner self, embrace the beauty of the present and stretch because it’s necessary. *Limited yoga mats provided*

Lace up your sneakers, toss on your MKE5K swag and join us for the 2024 MKE5K Walk/Run! This is a celebration of community, health and the bonds that tie us together. Whether you’re a seasoned runner or casual walker, gather your family and friends to stride alongside others in support of men’s health and the strength of Milwaukee County. This inclusive event welcomes participants of all ages, encouraging a sense of camaraderie that extends beyond the finish line.

Participating in the post-mobility stretch is essential for runners and walkers alike. These sessions offer numerous benefits that prevent injury, promote overall well-being, muscle recovery, relaxation and stress. Don’t skip the stretch — your body will thank you for it!

Dibble, shoot, and score at our Basketball Skills Challenge! We’re calling hoop enthusiasts to showcase their ball-handling finesse. From fast-paced layup drills to 3-point shootouts, this challenge is to flaunt your skills and compete with friends and attendees. We’re on the grounds of the Deer District, it’s only right!
